Summer School
Senior Summer School for ages 14-19
Sunday 12th – Saturday 18th August
Delivered by members of Birmingham Royal Ballet, our Summer School for students aged from 14 – 19 presents a unique opportunity to learn from professional dancers in a state-of-the-art studio setting.
Focusing on classical ballet and supporting styles, this intensive week-long programme includes classical ballet tuition, repertoire, pas de deux, pointe work, contemporary, jazz and strength and conditioning. Working with both male and female company members, you will receive hands-on tuition and guidance.
The evening programme includes a mime masterclass by BRB’s Assistant Director Marion Tait, and Elmhurst Ballet School’s Artistic Director, Robert Parker; Q&A with BRB company members; a disco and more.
The week culminates with a sharing of work to an audience of parents in our Studio Theatre.
Fees:
£675 – Residential, staying in our on-site boarding houses managed by professional house staff.
£525 – Non-residential
All fees include three meals daily and healthy snacks and support from our health and wellbeing team.
Junior Summer School for ages 11 - 13
Tuesday 28th – Friday 31st August
This three-day intensive programme is delivered by Elmhurst Ballet School’s artistic team and guest teachers, and focuses on classical ballet tuition and repertoire from the beloved British Classics and more.
The evening programme includes a Q&A with BRB company members; a DVD presentation of the chosen repertoire and more.
The week culminates with a sharing of work to an audience of parents in our Studio Theatre,

£395 – Residential, staying in our on-site boarding houses managed by professional house staff.
£345 – Non-residential
All fees include three meals daily and healthy snacks and support from our health and wellbeing team.
